Today Savage X Fenty Vol.2 debuted on Amazon, and it was all it was expected to be and more. Famed for its sexy, stylish and inclusive identity Rihanna’s second fashion show was a highlight during an adapting fashion week.
You can see from some of the hair looks they fit in the major trend of SS21, Hair through the ages... However these feature two new styles, the Mullet and the Beehive.
Mullets date back to the 70’s and have been associated with acts like David Bowie and Rod Stewart, surviving through the 80’s and being worn by many American country acts too. In modern interpretations the mullet has been worn by Miley Cyrus and Rihanna herself. Will this choppy, androgynous hairstyle make a comeback in the general public?
Another hairstyle another decade. Looking back to the sixties, the beehive was a popular style. Known for its prominence especially in films like Hairspray. The Savage X Fenty Beehive comes in a few variations: the up-do, the fringe, the natural hair and The full length look. The hairstylist has adapted the style to each of the girls and the lingerie look they were sporting.
A new look from Savage X Fenty, inspired by nature. Bouncy, curls, creating texture and floral lashes creating playfulness and daintiness, a contrasting look to the grungy black lingerie looks seen previously.
